I know this sounds silly but how do you lose a couple of pounds in your butt area because Ive tryed everything and I can't find a good exercise to work out my buttocks.
Spot reduction is almost impossible. If you watch your diet and follow a resistance training program, you'll lose the weight there and in other places as well.
You can't pick one body part to lose like that. If you watch your diet and do cardio training, you will lose it. The exercises mentioned will help tone the muscles so they will be firm once the extra weight is lost.
You can lose pounds in your butt by doing the following:
1. Watch your diet.
2. Watch your diet.
3. Watch your diet.
4. Do barbell squats.
5. Use the Butt Blaster at your gym.
6. Barbell squats.
DaBeez,
I have been to gyms all of my life, but what, pray tell, is a "Butt Blaster"??? I am not familiar with this item. Makes me giggle just typing it!
I agree. Squats and lunges are great for the rear end.
Some good advise here. It would be so nice if we could pick and choose the body parts to add or loose pounds from. The plastic surgery industry would be devastated! I would add the leg press as well.
Aside from what's already been mentioned, walking lunges using either a barbell or dumbbells targets both the quads and glutes effectively.
