Will my cellulite go away when I lose weight and start using the legpress again?

Since December I have stopped strength training and skipping runs. All of the sudden my butt is cellulite city. I never had this problem before. If I lose the weight I put on (I only put on about 5 lbs and I'm 5'4')will this cellulite go away or is it a permanent thing?

How else can I get rid of it?

Lose the fat and find out for yourself, no one can predict body changes. My wild guess is that at least some of the cellulite will go away. Most women have cellulite by the way so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Squats, reverse leg curls laying down (for the glutes), and hit the stairstepper machine..... All will tone that up

Diet is number one. Then concentrate of lower body exercises. Squats and lunges and all their variations should be your go to moves.

Do deadlifts, works your entire posterior chain. But don't just do them, get better at them (whether that be more weight, more reps, whatever).

Try some long slow distance running. Try to work up to doing a 15 mile run, once or twice per week. To avoid problems, increase distance by no more than 10% per week. Just run a little further each week until you're at about 15 miles. I bet at that point the cellulite will have disappeared.

Make sure you're properly hydrating, as well. Being hydrated reduces the *appearance* of cellulite.
