Mine overlap and I am small framed. I'm 5'9 and about 125 lbs. No surprises there.

Thanks.

Nah, you're right. "Big boned" and "small-boned" are a myth. At least, they're close to that than to reality.

This thread is supposed to be fun and lighthearted anyway. So let's play nice.

P.S. I added a poll. Pity that I forgot to do it earlier.

Haha in what way? They're too skinny or broad?

Maybe you just have long fingers or big hands? If you have such hands then of course your (long) fingers will overlap.

Mine overlap and always have even though right now I need to lose 20 lbs (which I am working on). I'm 5'1" and even at my heaviest a few years ago they overlapped. I wear a size 5 ring and when I was 29 my engagement ring was a 3 3/4 so I would say I am small boned.

I don't know if people are small or large "boned" but they definitely are small, medium, large and extra large framed. I've seen woman that when I stand next to them, I look like a little girl.

...Or a thyroid or whatever.

The exercise is silly in any case. My brother is the same height as me (maybe an inch shorter.) He has fingers that are easily half an inch longer than mine. His legs are four inches longer than mine. If i got to being borderline underweight, I don't think my fingers would touch, or would barely touch.

Mine don't even come close to touching. I do need to lose a bit of weight but I am otherwise pretty fit, I put in a lot of time at the gym, bike, hike...
I guess I am big boned or whatever, when I was super fit hardly any fat, rock climbing seriously, running .5 marathons regularily and having just ran my first full, I was still between 98-102kg at 6'.

I put a bunch of weight on when I had a string of injurys and had to stop running. So I kind of replaced running with going to the gym. I have put on a bunch of muscle, it seems to come easy for me, losing weight OTOH.

I can't imagine what the size of my wrists would have to do with being fat though, not really any fat there.

I can fit another wrist in the overlap. I've never met anyone with smaller wrists than I.

Mine just touch each other...no overlapping. I'm 5'2" and 112ish pounds. I always thought my frame was small lol.
