They never advertise it , I don't see it in stores and it exercises every inch of your body. It was used by the sadistic husband on the Julia Roberts' movie, "Sleeping With the Enemy." It sort of looks like a ladder and it appears to be propped up on a wall . You stand on one of the steps and your feet go up and down at the same time your arms and hands hold onto handles and they too go up and down. Does anyone know the name of it and why you don't see it for sale?

It's called Jacobs Ladder. At least that's the name listed on them, at gyms I have gone to. I think they are an older piece of equipment. I don't see them in newer gyms.
cross trainers are used now a days, when you run your foot joint get's impact so a cross trainer where your feet never lift off and there is no impact...
