This.

This forum is about as unfitness as any fitness forum in existence. Maybe they had T-nation open in another tab and got mixed up. The vast majority of these threads would fall into the fitness novice category or random vaguely fitness related topics like this. There's a notable absence of people talking about they just hit a 350 pound 1 rep PR on bench press or posting their 10 mile strava run they just did in an hour.

as a baby boomer, i think you missed one OP: Balance. i get around fine looking down the shotgun barrel of 70... i think my yoga helps me with mobility, flexibility.... and balance...... as for my penchant for boredom-related activities Creamer1, i will take my " boring " love of poetry over this generation's addiction to social media any day.... what is boring to many is for some really really not only mentally and emotionally fulfilling, but damn fun too.... been to any spoken word readings lately?? SNAP!

So novice fitness is the same as unfitness?

If you're defining fitness levels based on a 350 pound 1 rep PR on bench press or 10 mile strava run, then I guess the vast majority of fitness enthusiasts are unfit.

And as a former marathon runner, I've never heard of a strava run.
