Go get calipered (or weighed underwater) for an accurate measure of your percent body fat, then have your "smart scale" tell you, and then you'll know.
How does the "smart scale" estimate percent body fat, anyway?

Such scales work with the help of sensors underneath your feet that use bioelectrical impedance. When you step on the scale, a small electrical current runs up through your leg and across your pelvis, measuring the amount of resistance from body fat.
They’re not accurate. Calipers are better but not accurate either. Hydrostatic weighing is the gold standard. At my prime I measured 7% once upon a time. Now I’m more like 15%
I know they are not but the pattern matters the most right? How much off is it by?
You are doing really well even at 15%. So say if my scale shows 19%. What is the real #?

It's your scale, go look up how accurate it is. The best of them are accurate to +/- 8%, so 19% really means anywhere from 11-27%. Most are accurate to within +/- 12%. The bigger thing is they're not concsistent. If you knew for you and your scale it was always 5% under your actual body fat, that's something you could use. Just subtract 5%. Unfortunately they're all over the place from day to day.

"You gotta do things other people won't do in order to do things other people can't do."
If the OP wants abs I think the OP should have abs.
The answer has to be in his diet. Somewhere, that's where the answer is. I don't have a a six-pac, but I have succeeded in other areas, and I always did it by putting in the thought and the action and the time to make it happen.
Kobe Bryant worked out 3 times a DAY when he was training. Mick Jagger still works out twice a day. Jack LaLanne turned down a tiny sliver of carrot cake at his 90th birthday party; said he "just couldn't". People become excellent because they want to. REALLY want to!
If the OP works hard and works smart and puts enough constructive thought into it he will stumble on his answer. At this point I think his answer is in his dinning room.
