Hard to say what all it encompasses since femininity, like masculinity, can change in the eye of both the beholder and the beholden.
One gesture that strikes me as distinctly feminine is putting your hands to your heart.

Femininity. Is that which has the ability to neutralize masculinity. It's hard to describe, but a man knows it when he sees it.

It can be a lot of things.

-Writes in a girly manner (pink) and cute/girly fonts

-Uses girly phrases or icons

-Takes care of herself in a feminine way (spa, working out)

-Wears girly clothes.

And basically not making apologies for being a girl.

Very tough question. I think SifuPhil said it best in his post on the first page of this thread.

It IS in the attitude and how they carry themselves. Some of the MOST feminine and girly women I know are ones who can slap some 45 pound plates on each side of a barbell then crank out some deadlifts, bench presses and overhead squats, then run and jump on a pullup bar and knock out 20 or so pullups. But they are still super girly with their Bebe Sport sexy workout gear, girly attitudes, and just wanting to be and feel sexy.

What is unfeminine? This is also tough to say because some of the qualities and characteristics of someone I'd consider unfeminine could also be had by someone who IS feminine so again, its all the attitude and how she carries herself. Usually, I'd say a woman is unfeminine if she possesses a combination of being burly, drinks beer a lot, hangs out with mostly guys, doesnt do the salon thing (manis, pedis, fancy hair), hardly ever wears makeup, and is almost always found wearing non form fitting pants. Unfeminine women also tend to NEVER EVER EVER care about being or appearing sexy.

This thread just proves for me that drag queens are most feminine creators ever.

I think you need to quote the entire text of what I said instead of just piecing it together because it can be totally take out of context.

I think that some confuse "feminine" with sexy. There is a difference. For example, you can imagine a feminine women cuddling a baby, cooking a meal, crying at movies, etc. Does your "sexy" woman give off the same vibes?

Would the average man feel protective around a "feminine" woman? A sexy one? Which one plays sports? Drives a race car?

The type of clothes indicates that she either follows the style, chooses to be comfortable, or really doesn't care a bit. Does that make her more or less "feminine" Can she dress in last years Walmart special and still be sexy?
