OP posted in my other thread. Perhaps she was hinting at making me her future husband??

Tell him to f off and ask him to wear it, if he likes it so much.

What's wrong it introducing a little fun into the bed room?
So maybe he didn't go about it the right way, geesh
Dump him over it

He bought it for YOU.
So it was something you would not have got for yourself.
If it's not your style, go buy something that is and surprise him
Lingerie is for him, not you, even if some women like it.

Men are very visual and we like unwrapping things and it adds excitement to the foreplay that most/some women crave.
So dump the old t-shirt and sweat pants now and then and have some fun.

Yeah, but as a man you should not tell a woman, "You're not sexy enough, here wear this I bought it".

Your right, he should be able to talk her pants off.
He may not be able to convey his true feelings in an eloquent manner.
Or
She/you are just going out with/married to a pig?

Some like that to?

So the OP has a husband, and she wants to dictate what the husband will wear.

But she also has a boyfriend, and the boyfriend wants to dictate what she will wear.

I think that to complete the circle, it's completely okay to wear what the boyfriend wants you to wear, but only if your husband gets to dictate what the boyfriend wears. Then it's fair all around.
