I notice in the US a lot of guys still wear baseball/basketball caps - that trend sort of died away (it's still alive and well, but a lot less reduced).
Just wondering what do you think of baseball caps from a fashion perspective?
I don't wear them simply because they do not protect my neck - although I do when I grow my hair longer. I prefer slouch hats with brims anyway, but admit I don't often wear hats even when it's hot and sunny.
Do you think wearing a cap backwards/to the side is passe/goofy?
What about girls/women wearing baseball caps? Seems kinda 90s, I saw it in the States, I think it's kind of cute to be honest lol.
depends on where you go. To a ball game? Fine. to the playground. Fine. In a restaurant. Not fine. Use your discretion. As a side note I think the turn to the side is very 1990's, LOL.
Love ball caps and have many and have worn them since the 1960s so they are not a fashion trend for me. I don't however, wear them backwards. I think Gomer Pile did that.

I don't think Gomer was the inspiration for millions who did so afterwards, though.

Thinking of a guy wearing his cap backwards I get a distinct mental picture of some guy working in Bozo's Garage in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.
-- Forgive me Mr. Bozo whoever you are. I've never been in your garage but every time I drive by there I smile broadly to think how unfortunate it would be if your first name was Some. --
Didnt the mechanic guy on The Andy Griffith Show wear his cap backwards?
That was Gomer Pile.
