Michelle Obama has no fashion sense at all, remember how she used to dress the first couple of years in office? It wasn't until recently that she has been under the guidance of fashion experts to help her out.
I never found any of the first ladies to be attractive. Jackie O probably came closest.
Vogue and Vanity Fair called to say that they disagree with you.
I don't find either one attractive. Jackie O or Michele Obama. I think people get caught up in the glitz of the title of first lady. Either that, or they're just afraid to speak out. Jackie O's features seemed a bit harsh to me. Wasn't nearly as cutesy pootsy as Marily Monroe or whoever else the President was linked with. Our current first lady has poor posture, I don't see what's so great about her arms (which all the media seems to be covering) and her fashion sense is...well...it's her own. Just my opinion...
Out of more than 40 women, I'm sure some of them were very good-looking, but we don't have modern pictures of most of them. We can't see them through today's eyes. Also Presidents tend to be older men, so their wives are older. Everyone's prettier at 22.

I would say on the plain side, but she's a great dresser has a nice smile and a firm bod, so I would give her high marks for fitness. I think Reagans wife was pretty attractive in her day but she wasn't a Marylin Monroe, Vanessa Williams or even a Joan Collins. I'm thinking Natalie Woods "type" as being a beautiful first lady.[/quote
When the Obama's were here for vacation one of my police officer friends met them and was on their detail. He said Michelle is gorgeous in person.
I never thought Jackie Kennedy was beautiful or stunning, but I do think she was cute. Sort of like an adorable mouse. I think Nancy Reagan was pretty for her age, and in some of her old photos as a younger actress I find her downright pretty. In the list linked in the OP, I'd say Julia Gardiner Tyler could possibly be kind of cute (in a way) and Helen Taft looks sort of pretty in that picture, and I like her in this one:
Michelle Obama has her moments where I think she has a sort of elegance, but overall I don't really find her physically attractive.
