What type/brand of purse do you like to carry, ladies? Where I live Coach is kinda the one you see women carrying a lot. Of the more expensive ones, I prefer Dooney and Bourke. A little bit cheaper...I really like Fossil. My husband recently bought me a beautiful Brighton purse and I like it. I also like a braided or woven look in a purse when I can find it. Pearlina has a very soft leather. Really, though, a purse can be very attractive and inexpensive, but I do like a good leather purse, I've found.

So...what kind of purse do you carry? If money were no object, what kind would you prefer? Would you rather have one good purse or many less expensive ones? What kind of purses are popular where you live? Are there any you particularly don't like?

I tend to be kind of a "purse" person, so let's talk purses!

I love Aigner leather purses. I have one that is about 25 years old..It is the signature marroon color and the large clutch stye with optional shoulder strap. It is still in great shape and I use it a lot during the winterI got a billfold about 5 years ago and one of my daughters got me a matching leather keychain. I only own two aigner purses besides my old faithful 25 year old. I have an old denim purse fron wal-mart that I carry most of the time, because I am usually in jeans

I really like Fossil purses.
They come in a wide variety of styles, from leather to canvas to whatever, and I have a bunch of them.
I also like cutesy teeny little evening bags, though I use them maybe 3 times in an entire year. I have a great vintage one, silk and beaded, that I got from one of my preschool parents.

I really am not a big fan of any purses with logo purses. Although I am a huge fan of expensive purses. The quality alone is worth it. I love the hobo bags myself and I really look for unique features ans simple lines. Not too many tassles or outside pouches. I am currently inlove with this Prada tote bag that I saw about a year ago and cannot stop thinking about. It has a robot embroidery on the front and I just find it so unique and adorable! It was about $1700 back then and I've looked recently and have found it for a bit cheaper but still a little too unaffordale. All in all I am a big fan of purses.... and shoes as well. Great subject!!!

I like it in white but this is the bag! Isn't it cute?

Yes, Suzi- DITTO on the logo thing. I love clothes but I find it really distracting to wear a purse with huge logos on it. It's kind of like my purse is stealing the show! I like slouchy leather boho purses. I can wear that with a pair of jeans and it will add some style to the outfit.

I tend to buy one really classic everyday purse about every 15 years. My current is a gorgeous caramel-colored woven leather by Fossil. I still get compliments and it's obviously getting worn. I mean I beat these things up! The one before that was a Micheal Dorf and it was awesome!

I have a few little "function" bags, but don't switch purses otherwise. Same old bag day to day. This is one purchase I think carefully about. It has to have certain pockets, etc. and I'll pay for quality. But, I don't need to pay $400 for a purse which advertises itself.

oh my...guess I'm still stuck in the 60's I have a denim purse that I carry EVERYwhere (unless its someplace realllly nice). It has umpteen gazillion key chains, feathers, buttons, and goodness knows what else attached to it. It weighs like 20lbs...lol...but I just can't part with it.
