No, I don't like wearing dresses much anyway and esp not around the house. Those items are just not "me". I know people find them comfortable and it's odd that I don't, but I don't find those types of things comfortable at all.

Exactly-
left to my own devices, i.e. comfort in privacy of my home,
I dress in stretchy shorts or those super soft poly pants "pj bottoms" & soft shirt-not a dress/skirt.
Absolutely! I have one of my Mother's favorites. She is deceased but I have very fond memories of her wearing it and always feel that she is a little closer when I wear that blue cotton airy dress.
I will wear dresses around the house when temperatures get above 75 degrees in the summer.
For me, it's the temperature issue, too, that determines what I wear. I live in the high desert of NM. I start out in the summer wearing shorts or capris around the house but when it gets into the high 70s and more, I put on a cool cotton dress--unfitted is cooler. By January, I'll be wearing flannel lined jeans, long underwear, and wool sweaters!
Jams dresses rock! So, yes I wear mumus or aloha wear daily..
It seemed like muu muus were going out of style over there--are they making a come back? Hope so! When I lived there, I had some pretty, semi-fitted long ones--very flattering styles.
My mother and grandmother both are fans of Housedresses and Muumuus. Mom takes it one step further and has one in Leopard Print that she's particularly fond of.
Me, I have a pair of jammy bottoms that I always wear, while the top is usually some kind of nerd shirt.
What I wouldn't give for full suit jammies with the feet in them, though!
LEOPARD print? Now that I'd like! Thanks for the idea. Might need to get a muu muu dress pattern, leopard print fabric and take it to the "local" dressmaker here in NM--they'd have fun with that--they're all Native American seamstresses used to sewing native costumes!
I found a nice one at the secondhand store yesterday, the brand was Lotus Traders Caftan | Lotus Traders Clothing It looks like it takes a long time for them to be made and to ship, but the one I bought at the thrift shop was really well made and is very comfortable, so I will probably order a couple more.
