I've worn these two together at my last job without any hesitation, but since people ( mostly women) dress so plainly and casually at my current job I'm not too sure how it would look like. It's a casual environment but since I started, it seems like the women there just don't care at all.
I absolutely love the two of them together, but would probably wear them together when I went out instead of at work. It sounds like the norm at your work environment is plain and casual, so by wearing this you might set yourself up for ridicule or unwanted attention - people can be mean sometimes. Be a conformist at work and go glam on your own time. Best wishes.
Heck NO. Not unless you want to look like a major fashion flub (or like you're 85 years old). Matchy matchy is out out out. Either one alone is great, but do not match them.
Ok, so everyone is against wearing them together. My intention wasn't actually to match everything on my outfit -I don't usually do that-but I found this combination quite interesting, as you don't see it often ( sweater with matching shoes).
