Big muscles are a turn OFF. Shows a guy who spends waaay too much time focusing on his body. Give me a nice face and great smile with an average body!

I guess you don't know many men!

I like to see the muscle tone and definition, but I don't like when it looks like the guy can't even put his arms down to his sides! The bulging muscles turn me off. It makes me think that body building is all he cares about, so how could he care that much about me?Muscles do not define a person, though.

Muscles can actually be a turn off for me.

Prime example? Hugh Jackman. I ADORE him. He doesn't really need a lot of muscles. But when he looks 'roided out for his Wolverine roles? Meh. No thanks.

I do. I've worked in male dominated industries my entire life.

It just doesn't make any sense to me because *I've* never wanted to be with anyone based solely on how hot they were. There isn't any empathy there for me.

Any time I see a guy who obviously works out to the point that it's extraordinarily noticeable, I completely disregard them as silly and self absorbed. I've dated "muscle men" and they're worse than teenaged girls, trying to get compliments, can't pass a mirror without gazing at themselves...ugh.

Nah, I like a man with real muscle...muscle that's born of hard work..muscle that lasts a lifetime.

I'd rather have a man with character and a feeling of self security than one who's so insecure that he thinks muscles have anything to do with who they are as a person. So sad.

Muscles are fine, but not required. The first thing I notice is a mans eyes.

For me, it's a combination of face, body, and smell. My husband's smell is pretty incredible, and I find it the best scent I have ever smelled. I guess this is his pheromones or whatever. I remember feeling weak kneed the first time I got a big whiff.
