I just read an old thread about the places you refuse to shop, and it made me wonder how many C-D members are walking around in the nude.
So what stores do you like shopping at? Where does the majority of your wardrobe come from?
In the past year I've developed quite the love affair with Anthropologie. It's terribly expensive and runs big, but I stick my head in whenever I'm around to check the sales rack. It's a rare place that sells casual, cotton, structured feminine dresses.
When I'm making my shopping rounds I routinely include Gap, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, American Apparel, and Forever 21. Naturally in any place you have to sort through the cr*p to find the gold, but I find that strategic shopping in these places can get me a decent balance between quality and price.
And here's the other thread, in case y'all are interested.

OH God! The easier and shorter question would be where don't we shop?! ahahaha
EDIT: Importer's Wife: I'm with you on many of your choices! ;-)
savers, salvation army, consignment shops, random stores in the mall, etsy, ebay, design by humans. i'll go to target for t-shirts, and wal-mart for black business casual clothes for work, but those are both infrequent shopping stops as i get most of what i want/need from the other places mentioned.

I'm with you on all of the above (including the Anthropologie mention), minus Forever 21. I will also add H&M, Macy's, as well as places I have to dig to find a good deal (e.g. Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.). I try to blend well made classic pieces with cheaper, trendier pieces.
I have enough clothing for all climates so shopping has not been a need for a long time. When I do add an item or so on the dressy side, I order from a very small catalogue/online company in England, and on a casual side, from a very small catalogue/online company in Wisconsin.
Not into popular clothing stores or department stores much because, as my eldest brother taught me when I was in my teen years, "Try not to wear the same thing everyone else does, otherwise you will see yourself coming and going."
