I am proud to say that I am NOT one of the "95%"!
I am, and always have been, firmly in the "5%" camp.
I have never cared for skinny women.
ALL of my girl friends and wives have been "pleasingly plump" or "plus size" or "fluffy".
When I put my arms around a woman, I want to be able to tell I have hold of something. Skinny women are lumpy and bony. YUK!!
But then, over the last few years, I have gained a few pounds myself.
If you don't like the looks of me and/or my wife, don't look. Just go away.

Um most guys do not like skinny women either.

A woman can have insane curves (big boobs, juicy butt, nice thighs) and not be fat.

Oh boy...

What defines "curves" is SO subjective. Ask a room full of White guys if a woman in King or XXL magazine is curvy and their answer will probably be "no, she's fat", whereas you ask a room full of Black guys if a girl from Sports Illustrated, Maxim, or FHM is curvy, and they'll most likely say "no, too skinny".

I'm talking about American guys here now.

Even amongst the same race you can get disagreements on where the line is drawn between curvy and fat.

Despite what you want to believe, there is no male "unimind" on aesthetics.

I see more men dating up and it aint even close.

Aesthetics on a general level are universal. For example, if you ask 10 men who is more attractive, Rosie O'donnell or Jessica Alba, I am fairly confident 9-10 of them men are going to say Jessica Alba.

Regarding your comment about subjective with the fat guy, you would obviously not know the difference between average, slightly overweight, and fat. A guy is fat or he isnt. This isnt subjective. A girl is plain jane or she isnt. I am talking on a whole, not simply one man's/woman's opinion.

For your average man and women, women have 1000 times more dating options. How many women approach men during the day and night asking for their phone number and a date? Compare that to men doing the same. Also, go make two dating profiles. One an average looking guy, and the other an average looking woman. Then compare the messages they receive on a daily/weekly basis.
Ok, so you like using extreme examples like Rosie O'Donell. Great way to position your argument. But I'm not talking about that at all. Like, not even close. Aesthetics are universal to a point. Which is why in the old days big girls were desired but they probably didn't look like Rosie O'Donell. Adele is a "bigger" girl but you ask many men if they'd find her attractive and you'd probably get an even response. I know guys who think Khloe Kardashian is hot, others who think she's too fat. Nobody here is talking about Rosie O'Donell. You must assume big girls can't be pretty.

Omg lol so true. I've known many of my white girl friends who think kim k is fat or video vixens are fat but black men call them thick.

See, I knew you'd do that. You picked a woman who is not generally considered to be pretty to carry the banner for big women to go up against Jessica Alba. I believe Rosie herself would tell you she's not as attractive as Alba, nor does she carry herself or pretend to be. There are plenty of attractive BBW women you could have chosen.

I always though Queen Latifa was good. I definitely don't think she's ugly.

She's not a small woman. But just because she's bigger doesn't mean she's not attractive. Least imo.

And when I saw Jessica Alba on tv last year, she looked anorexic. It wouldn't killed her to have some more meat on her bones. She looks like she was ready to break in half walking.

You know who society really looks down on? You, literally, when you're dead and in your grave, and you've spent your life worrying about what "society" thinks of your choice in life partners.

It might be hard to remember why you cared so much about what other people thought when you're 80 and alone instead of just doing what made you happy.
