Female, and old enough to be her mother, which is why I care, I guess. I'm also somewhat involved in fashion so it interests me.

Mod cut.

Maybe she enjoys life and likes color!!

How is the way she dresses harming you, btw?

Other days she wears this huge mid calf length solid yellow skirt and she's got another one that's baby crap beige. She always pairs this stuff with shirts that don't match and flat shoes.

My window faces her apartment walkway so I never get close enough to her to say anything (there is a street in between) -- but I wish someone would make her stop dressing so badly. It's just awful. She's like a walking "Don't" fashion page.

Close your curtains, keep your opinions to yourself, clean out your own closet first.

She wears what she wants just like you get to wear what you want so mind your own.

If she is a nice or otherwise interesting or intelligent person then I'd be happy to be a friend of hers.

However, if she ridiculed people for their attire barring something crazy like oh....wearing arseless chaps to church....then I'd get far far away from Ms. Fashion Diva.

The end.

First wold problems. This is is your biggest problem in life? Man, you are lucky! My aunt's next door neighbor set her deck on fire last week because she thought my aunt broke into her apartment. Meanwhile, firelady's daughter broke in after she snuck out. And you think a striped skirt is a problem? Wow. You have a lot of living to do.

Its all subjective to a certain degree...like art. What one person deems as hideous another thinks as a masterpiece.

You may be old enough to be her mother but you are not her mother.

What difference does it make how she is dressed? How does it affect you? MYOB, live and let live, and get a life. Watching other people out your window and making judgments as to their fashion sense sounds to me like you have too much time on your hands.

Maybe she's poor and that's all she can afford. No one is attacking you, just giving you perspective.

Wow, I can not believe someone actually has nothing better to do than make negative comments on how her neighbor dresses. If you have nothing better to do, then I suggest volunteering your free time to make a difference. So really, get a life and MYOB. No one appointed you judge or jury. You reap what you sow!!
