It's so disappointing that I can no longer wear heels. Since I am only 5' tall, it makes a big difference. Still, I do have two pair I will never give up. And they are for private, special occasions only, when very little walking is required.
When I see someone in high heels, I feel pity for her,...or rather for her feet. My wife wears only flats, never heels. For our wedding she wore women's dress shoes which did have heels, but no more than 2 to 3 inches at the most. She wears New Balance shoes ordered from a specialty store because they don't keep her size in stock in any store.
Walking to work all stressed out in heels isn't fun, at least according to my mom.
