The major ones are well known, but how about some of the minor ones. Antwerp, a small Flemish city, is considered a fashion capital of sorts. Anyone have any other examples?

I have to respectfully disagree about LA. Sure a lot of stylish celebrities live here and we have a Fashion Institute of Design and a little bit of manufacturing but I wouldn't say we're a capital. High-end flagship stores are mostly in NY or Europe then LA get an branch later. Because of the weather and laid-back lifestyle, so many people just go around in yoga pants and high-end sunglasses all day.
