I like jewel tones--strong colors rather than weak ones or pastels.
I'm particularly fond of a certain shade of green, which I not only like but which also complements my coloring and the coppery-red highlights in my hair.
It's not olive, Kelly, grass, or forest green. Hunter green, maybe, but it has to be the right shade. LOL I know it when I see it.
Yellow and green makes me look awful. My face seems to pick up the green colors, and makes me look...sickly. Like I'm going to be sick.
Ditto, I generally cannot do yellow, green, or orange. Just not flattering on me. Now that you mention it, it does kind of wash me out.

Same, jewel tones are generally flattering on me. I look good in (and thus feel better in, assuming fit/style is also there) navy, purple, maroon, fuschia, dark gray, and teal. I am not the Jazz guy, but I also wear bubble-gum pink pretty well. I tend to "feel" best in pink and purple and I've noticed I get better treatment wearing those colors (which tend to read feminine).
Black, dark (maroon) red & lavender. I like darker colors on top, lighter for pants/shorts but I’m not sure why.
