I have never been impressed by painted nails, whether fingers or toes.
But then, I have never been impressed by face paint, eye shadow, mascara, cheek blush, or perfume.
A good looking woman doesn't need any such paint, powder, and stink, and it won't improve a homely woman.
I'm very detailed oriented. I notice everything about a woman. I do like when women wear nail polish, especially on nice looking feet/toes. I adore women who wear nail polish, but is not afraid of ruining their nail polish.
With gel nail polish it's virtually impossible to ruin nail polish. It lasts for weeks with no chipping.
I only get my toe nails painted, I can never keep a manicure looking nice more than a couple of days, and the gel is too hard on your nails long-term. I might get a gel manicure once a year.
I lean toward feminine/ girly type women, who spend hours putting on makeup and doing their nails. A lot of times I will be going through a drive thru, and when the girl hands me my order, I notice she has some nails that are done up. I will sometimes comment that I like her nails. However, I find those very longish nails a turnoff, and wonder how they function with 3 inch spikes on the end of each finger.
Toenails, not so much, but fingernails I do find interesting.
For one thing it isn't healthy. Nail polish is full of bad chemicals that enter your blood stream through the nail and travel directly to your liver. Then, the bad chemicals sit in your liver for the rest of your life. To their credit, a few of the companies that make nail polish have started to clean up their act a bit, giving folks not quite as bad of chemicals to lay on their nails to get into their blood stream and eventually come to rest in their liver.
It also isn't healthy for the nail itself. Many women have completely ruined nice smooth nails with gel manicures, as well as gotten fungal infections from acrylic/false nails .
I had no idea about this.
But generally makeup isnt good for the face either I thought.
after having brothers, male friends, boyfriends, a husband, and sons, most men fall into two main camps when it comes to what physical presentation in well groomed women they prefer.
Personally I love it. But the toes gotta be done as well.
