Don't you hate it when people hug you and their cologne or perfume (which they've obviously bathed in,) adheres to you, so you smell like them until you can get home and shower....eeeew.
Everybody's sense of smell is different, and unfortunately I'm one of the ones that it really bothers. I've gotten off of elevators in tears (or eyes watering, anyway) and walked up 10 flights to avoid someone with heavy cologne/perfume. Sometimes, standing next to someone who is wearing hairspray, deodorant and perfume is more than I can handle.
I can't stand it. I'm allergic to it. I start sneezing, get stuffy-nosed, and watery eyes. My own mother puts on too much. I recall as a teenager, she was getting ready to go out for the evening with my father and asked me how she looked. I told her she stunk, which got me sent to my room. She never got it. Other people, well, I can't be so frank with them, so I do my best to avoid them.
I wasn't talking about strangers... Friends and family members,ok? I would assume people wouldn't be hugging strangers.
