I've worn my fair share of corsets out to clubs, same could be said for thigh-high boots. Then again I was clubbing in NYC, so it was pretty much anything goes.
I had 2 dresses that worked magic, meaning I could get every man drop what he was doing and turn his head. I would walk past the bar and practically every guy would offer to buy me a drink or shot. It was insane, but a great ego boost none the less.
-One was a simple black tank dress made out of spandex (similar to the fabric that Herve Leger uses for his bandage dresses) and it had a white trimmed zipper in the front that went past the navel. I only kept the zipper open an inch or two (I always had to wear a bra, so I couldn't go too low and they didn't make plunge bras in my size back then.)
-the other was a fitted gunmetal colored halter dress where the neckline was held up with a thin metal choker.
I don't know, maybe I didn't look so hot and just I looked really slutty in them. Either way, the men didn't complain.

I totally agree with you on that. I just wear a great pair of jeans, high heels, and nice shirt (sometimes with a plunging down neckline) is enough for me to get a dance with someone.
The simple look always works. I call it the "Casual-Sexy" look (it's very casual, you can wear it anywhere and it's still sexy).
The hottest outfit possible would have to be a bodystocking worn with a corset over it (or a nice black panty and bra set underneath it) and a nice pair of heeled boots.
In da club, you bypass the line up, get drinks for free and have many dancing partners, without a doubt.

Pretty much anything that's not tight (like corsets, I won't wear) or too baggy (like oversize jeans or oversized shirts) and not sneakers, I will wear and it looks sexy enough to go out in.
