Ok so.. my 11 yr daughter is pretty short for her age but has REALLY long legs (that are skinnier than rails!). She needs the length of about a size 14 in girls yet the waist of about a 10 slim. So as you can imagine, it's very hard finding her jeans to wear. Does anyone know of a store or brand that would fit her?

Old Navy works best for my daughter who is built the same way. They have elastic/adjustable waist bands. I've bought them for as low as $10. I would guess the most expensive are still under $30. Plus it's a "brand name" that a lot of kids like.

Have you tried Abercrombie for kids? My daughter has long legs and is thin and has always done very well there. Many of their jeans come in a "slim" option as well.

I would start to look at juniors zero sizes in slim cuts with a low rise. The lower rise will take care of the short body in comparison with the legs. A double zero in a tall in a pair of levi's junior's might fit. They also come in regular and tall lengths. Measure her inseam.

you might want to try a women size 0.. it might just work my lil sister is all leg to and she is 10 i buy her a size 3 in women in they fit her. it might not work out bt it is worth a try n even if they are a lil big in the waist you could always use a belt or get them tookin in..
hope it works out

I have them altered. Find a good brand and then take them to get altered by a professional. They will look no different and fit perfectly.
