Since he's an expert.....he couldn't have been stupid enough to cherry pick those dates by accident..

Of course Chile is getting rewarded.....I call it rewarded...the UN calls it assistance...

==========
"Chile is the third largest recipient of International
Climate Funding in Latin America after Brazil and Mexico147 by amount approved (see
Figure 16"
"The total amount approved for Chile is approximately USD 202m between 2010 and
2015 (excluding projects completed).1"
"From 2017 it is expected that Chile will lose access to at least some of these funds, due
to the fact that some countries contributions are linked to ODA. However, donor countries will continue to provide finance to support climate-resilient investment in
Chile via the Green Climate Fund. The Green Climate Fund will therefore be a key
institution for supporting delivery of the NFS, and raising the ambition of Chile’s INDC. "

"The Green Climate Fund was established in 2010 under the framework of the UNFCCC
with the aim of supporting low-emission and climate-resilient investments in
developing countries. The Fund will help deliver on the commitment by developed
countries to mobilize USD 100bn of public and private finance annually for climate
action in developing countries by 2020. "

All in their financial report.......

Having worked in 3rd world hellholes (a.k.a. “Developing countries”) in the NGO / International fluff orgs, I can tell you that elites, which are all corrupt, without exceptions — they are laughing all the way to the bank with rich countries paying them for BS green “initiatives”. Actually it is an open secret that corruption goes both ways.

Henry, I believe history will look back at global warming as one of the biggest....if not the biggest.... ponzi scheme scam...ever pulled

We give the UN our (USA) money....the UN hands it out to countries to vote against us...the whole time those other countries get to increase their CO2 emissions...and we pay them to do it

wash rinse repeat

Of course they are....China reported their CO2 emissions went down..and at the same time their coal imports doubled
....what were they doing with twice as much coal

And the kicker is...we are paying the UN to give China our money to do it

And the other kicker is -- climate histerics don't care about any of this. They will dig their heels even deeper, and scream and yell "denier" every time someone calls out this scam.

No, that's not the kicker. The kicker is that, in the scheme of the world, you never want to see laws, treaties or sausage made. Yet many people incapable of such then weigh in on the grand scheme of things.

The fast is that - per capita - China has a vastly more efficient society than we do. Ours is the worst on the planet for a large society. China about 1/2 of ours. This despite a LOT of their pollution being made to make things FOR US. So the true number would be even more than 100% difference.

Any fair treaty would take into account those who do better...and punish (or force to clean up) those who do not.

Seems fair to me.

I dont want to veer off topic, but read this about living in China:

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/ch...havior-by-2020

I wish you'd start another thread in the apropriate C-D place titled "China has a vastly more efficient society than we do" and let the debate begin.

Default 2018 NOAA Arctic Report Card Update

Yet another scientific report released recently suggests the prospects for more extreme and more rapid projections of sea level rise in southern Florida should be taken seriously. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration 2018 Arctic Report Card Update was released on Dec. 3.

https://arctic.noaa.gov/Report-Card/...cutive-Summary

Arctic Report Card: Climate Change Devastates Ice, Animals | Fortune

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/11/c...c-warming.html

See post 27 in this thread for an more in-depth discussion of why this report suggests that southern Florida sea level rise may be more extreme than projected by most authorities. E.g., the report notes the emergence of the albedo effect as negative feedback loop resulting from ongoing fossil fuel consumption. It also increases the likelihood of a devastatingly vicious methane feedback loop.
