They are pushing them out as fast as they can but everyone from 3/15 on is basically in the same batch because of all the problems they had with the numbers of applications and the frequent inability to confirm information with the SSA, employers, etc. This has resulted in a somewhat random approach as they process the low hanging fruit so to speak rather than a first come first served approach. I was told they are far behind but they processed 115K apps just in the past few days so it looks like some progress is being made.

I was also advised that even though the claiming weeks thing has been waived, they still would like for people to claim the weeks anyway. That’s how the system works so I get the impression it will grease the skids.

My claim reads resolved-completed but no correspondence at all from the DEO yet, and I did it a couple weeks back.

Edit: Now it says pending-submitted.

It was on Suncoast News Network a couple of days ago that the State of FL has only paid 14% of unemployment claims thus far. So a lot of people still have a long wait to go.

I managed to log in and it says my application is incomplete, but it keeps kicking me back out to the acknowledgement screen every time I try to edit my application. Very frustrating.

I started applying around 3/22 or so for my mom. She was laid off. Today she got the normal unemployment but not the additional $600. Does that mean she won't get it? I don't see anywhere in her online account that she is even considered for the additional benefit. When I applied originally I checked "no" for when it asked if this is covid-related because I misunderstood the question. When I logged back in the claim the weeks, I checked "yes".

how do you get a hold of anybody at the unemployment place? I called the claim specific line and it just tells me everyone is busy and hangs up on me all the time.

If she got the Florida unemployment she will also get the $600 automatically. It will be through direct deposit if that is how she receives the FL money.

The 800-204-2418 number is really difficult to reach but that’s the number you have to call for claim specific issues.
