I recall Wilma weakening as it crossed the state then got stronger. At the time I was still employed by FPL, and their contracted weather service recorded 119 mph in Stuart Florida.

I didn't board up thinking it would be a TS by the time it reached the east coast... well at 4:30 am I was putting up shutters. That was a weird one for sure.

You got that right dwight. And i must have been living on another planet janet back in 2005 on Oct 18th as there was no cold air at all blare. A raging 87f and 88f on the 19th. I had to dig back on my records for the Tampa area. If 87f is cold i must be drunk.

I don't know, but after ANdrew, I really dont even remember losing a dollar with Wilma and I thought, at least here in the W Kendall Area it did not do much harm at all.

As a matter of fact I slept with no worries with her around ...

I am sure we are in the straight away, I have a strong feeling and I hope October brings nothing but the cooler temperatures !!!

Damm Man...it really came with cold weather behind, and it worked out great BECAUSE we did lose power for at least 2/3 days and opening the shutters and windows it was a blessing and Wilma closed that year with that NICE, ICE Bang !!!
