LKJ - did you finally got some rain?
Miami even got some of the outer bands with heavy rain and wind, but nothing serious. I have an aunt in Sarasota, she and her neighbor have some damage to their pool screens, but nothing otherwise.

LK, does this sound right to you? I haven't heard of this until right now....

"Entire homes were levelled by the torrential storm, with between 4,000 and 6,000 homes destroyed in Florida’s Pasco County alone, county administrator Mike Carballa said"

I don't know about destroyed. But many homes in my hood did flood. Some guys new pool broke in half and his house got two feet of water at the end of my street. We had no wind here but that bowl of water was super high thanks to the king tide clyde.

Anytime we get lots of rain like 4 to 8" at one time out steets all flood. Closest it got to my house was in 2012 with TS Debbie when we had 11" in 5 hours. And that was just rain and no tide. If we had real rain this last week on top of the tide i think i may have got water in the house. I am in the front area of the hood near US19 so i am higher vs the back on the saw grass and canals. Once a home is destroyed here per hurricane rules it has to be built up 10ft.

Our number is coming up for a super Cat5 with gust to over 220mph and it will happen soon. I have seen no news about big time damage in Pasco county and most of that was 80 miles or more north.
