Best city to visit/live in for a young person/family/education. Just what do you all think is the best city, well being that it is Florida "Metro Area". Florida has many cities within cities!

Being State-specific, this belongs in the Florida room. Moving.

Florida has many good cities within larger cities.

For young adults I would tend to be around the Tampa/St Pete or Ft Lauderdale areas myself. Both have easy access to everything you would ever want or need.

Jacksonville may be another choice. But gets a bit chilly for my blood.

My vote is for Sarasota. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, beautiful beaches, great school system, big on arts & culture.

I'm partial to Orlando . We have a medium sized city with more to do than most massive cities. and we don't have the crime of Miami or the retired feeling of Sarasota, st Pete or Ft Laud. Jax is too redneckish and Gainesville is nothing more than a college town.

Hobe Sound! The kids go to Martin County Schools (Highest rated in the state), close to the ocean, State Park, and a great community. If You need "night life" West Palm Beach is just 30 miles south.
