My eye is starting to twitch from anxiety. So, unless you're both in the kitchen whipping up a huge breakfast, TELL US HOW LAST NIGHT'S DATE WENT ALREADY!!

Sorry. I'll have a cup of coffee and relax. You take your time. I can wait... another few minutes.

Asparagus is bad date food, especially if you hope to fool around afterward. I'd have gone with gently steamed spinach (energy! vitamins!) and put some flosser picks in the bathroom.

And DandJ, I'm trying to picture what tapping both feet looks like ...

I like the menu as well but I did pause when I read asparagus. I love the stuff but my first urination after eating it is a killer. The next several aren't so pretty, either.

I know, TMI but that would have concerned me.

Yes, plus it's something I read or hear from time to time. Asparagus can make your pee (and other stuff) smell really strong and funky. Pineapple does the opposite. If I were cooking for a date, we'd have grilled ahi, a spinach salad, and pineapple.

Why Does Asparagus Make Some People's Urine Smell Funny?
