It's a cool, rainy day here with temps in the 60's-yeah!

I've made Navy bean soup, Chicken noodle soup and chili so far this week.

I can't wait to make a new recipe I found on Paula Deen's site for Crock Pot Apple Onion soup. Bought the ingredients today and I'm making a batch on Saturday. I love French Onion soup but the kiddies don't so I'm hoping this different version appeals to them.

I'm also craving anything with pumpkin and sweet potatoes. I also couldn't resist buying a can of Cranberry sauce today and that got me craving dressing, turkey, pumpkin pie and marshmallows, for some reason

Thick soups with ham and lentils or beans. Pumpkin bread. Gingerbread with crystallized ginger. Turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce. Peppermint and chocolate ... I know that's a wintertime thing, but I love peppermint and dark chocolate!

Just about anything that requires the regular oven, not the toaster oven.

I bought a pumpkin cupcake from a specialty bakery yesterday. Yum! I also will be drinking a few Cinnamon dolce lattes from Starbucks and lot's of butternut squash soup. But since it was nearly 110 yesterday I'll wait awhile on those.
