For dinner tonight & last tues i had kentucky fried chicken (original receipe), mashed potatoes & gravy, cole slaw, biscuits with butter & chocolate chip cake for desert.

Its was soooo good.

The best meal i have had in a long time.

I have plenty left over for the next few days.

Sounds tasty! I used to eat like that in college, up until mid-20's but now I try to at least have a huge salad and/or sauteed green leafy veggies (chard/kale/spinach) to accompany my proteins for dinner. If i don't i find i overeat & stuff myself on meat & starchy items like pasta/potatoes, which isn't good for my waistline.

I rarely have meals like this. I used a gift card i got for my b-day to purchase the meals.

I wont be eating at kfc for quite awhile now cause i rarely eat out or buy fast food + its not cheap.

There $2 Tuesday meal deals are pretty good deals. I buy these to eat for breakfast, as I try to make that my big meal of the day. I will usually buy 3 or 4 of them, and that way they last through the rest of the week.

I love dipping the chicken in the gravy and suckin' the meat right off the bone. The coleslaw's pretty good too. I just wish it wasn't so greasy and salty. Health food it ain't!

We had KFC for the first time in years a few months ago. It was really, really (too) good. For the sake of waistlines, brains and budgets it won't be a regular thing though. It's funny how taste and flavor can be such a trip down memory lane.

Yep....it sure does. KFC has been around for many yrs (early 60s) & the original receipe taste the same as it did yrs ago.

The coleslaw is really good as well as the mashed potatoes & gravy.

I like kfc chicken cold as well.

If you watch the 1964 james bond movie "Goldfinger" you will see a kentucky fried chicken.

Yup anything in moderation.

I like hot wings, although they are kinda expensive now. For awhile they had hot wings special 50 cents each on Thursdays, that was good times man 10 hot wings with a big puddle of that tobascoesque sauce they have to slather in his heaven man.

I don't like KFC anymore, maybe it's just the 3 KFC locations closest to me but I think they used to be much better. I think their food quality has gone downhill significantly over the last decade.

On the rare occasions I go to a KFC nowadays it's always something different: no chicken (yes, I kid you not - this actually happened multiple times), another time the register wouldent open, etc. Ill just go to McDonald's or Taco Bell and save myself the aggravation. KFC running out of chicken is like Subway or Quiznos running out of bread ... it just dosent happen.
