What's for Dinner
Last night I prepped my Lamb shanks then slow cooked today.
2 Lamb shanks with light Worcestershire, cracked salt and pepper.
Braised in pan, both sides.
Then put in crock pot with:
1 cup of red wine.
1/2 cup of beef broth.
Extra virgin olive Oil, and balsamic vinegar
Shallots
Garlic
Onions
Celery
Carrots
Fresh rosemary from my backyard
Then cooked at low for 8 hours and served with a creamy polenta.
Totally awesome.

Hey, I got a can of Progresso Italian Wedding Soup--anyone know if that's any good? The only other time I've had it I got it from Obee's (like a Quizno's or Subway).

It's ok. I like the Progresso Chickarina better which is similar but more chicken-y.

Guess it will be shrimp scampi, crab meat for my son, maybe cook up some catfish, and a salad. Oh, and garlic bread.

I'm making Hot Dogs for my DH, I don't like them. I have some leftover Lo Mein that I will consume.
