Leave out the bread next time and butter it & dunk. Or, better yet, use italian bread, buttered.
In it's place shake some fresh grated parmesan = italian chicken soup.

All this IF it's not the canned or boxed variety, of course.

I always, ALWAYS said soup was a good breakfast meal.
It's nutritious, filling, without weighing you down, and easy.
Mom used to give us warm milk with pastina in it, when we were the smallest tots. Oh Weee, delish!

Cold meatloaf sandwich on D'Italiano white bread...I love D'Italiano, it makes the best sandwiches and it's superb for making grilled cheese. So much better than regular ol' white bread.

I've never heard of that sandwich combo! It's like Thanksgiving in the palm of your hand, nestled between two slices of hearty goodness just begging to do the tango on your tongue! If you tell me there's homemade turkey gravy to dip that into, the knock you hear at your door is probably me!
