A while back it was some slutty women munching on a $6 burger and them representing all guys as chow hounds, I thought that was offensive but hey I don't represent the world.

I grown up poor, so bologna was a staple in my house. The bologna with the red tape around it. I don't eat that crap anymore. I've never eaten in Hardee's, so I won't start now.

I was never aware that bologna is thought of as po' folks' food. I love bologna, though haven't had it for years. If I was still eating junk food, I'm sure I'd love the Hardee's Fried Bologna Biscuit. Looks delish to me!

I can't remember the last time we ate at Hardee's. I have never had a fried bolonga sandwich. Never want one.

My grandparents who raised me would make "fried bologna" every now and then and I would make a toast and fried bologna sand w/mayo.
Then in the Air Force at one base the cold cuts on sat would become "fried" on Sunday morning!

I had a fried baloney sandwhich last weekend! Love 'em. Popular in SoCal and also in Hawaii. Polish mothers fry up the baloney with onions.

They're best on white bread.

I wasn't aware that beans and cornbread are "poverty" food. I've eaten it all my life and, while we weren't rich (and still aren't) we were not and are not "poor". In this part of the country, beans and cornbread are pretty much staples.

I like all types of beans and I love cornbread. Always have.

Black beans in particular are "in" right now. Black bean soup/chili/burgers/tacos/relish are on many restaurant menus these days.

I used to love having bologna sandwiches when I was a kid. I've never had fried bologna, but I would probably like it. Bologna on a biscuit sounds good to me, I'm not sure about the egg, though.

You're in Tennessee right? Aren't fried and bbq bologna some sort of regional food there? It's on all the BBQ menus I've been scoping out in advance of a trip I'm taking up that way.

I've never ever seen fried bologna on any fast food menu in Texas. Closest we got is the ubiquitous canadian bacon. Sticking it on a Tennessee menu seems no different than sticking jalapeños in everything here and stamping Texas on the name.
