You can link to the article if you wish. The Administrator is the one that decides on what forums and sub forums to place. There are 10 threads that have seafood in the title and 55 that have fish in the title in the entire forum that includes the sub-forums. There are a total of 7,428 threads. I doubt that he will create a sub forum. Not sure what you meant by "need a mod?". I'm right here and available by DM.

I was curious about which fish were listed, so I found the article.

I feel like all food you buy at the grocery store has some sort of problem. Fruits, veggies, meat, fish, etc...you just can't escape it.

The listed fish are generally safe to eat from the health standpoint, and most are listed for environmental reasons. Those few fish that do contain high levels of contaminants can still be eaten once a month with virtually zero risk of health repercussions, unless you are in a high-risk group (such as pregnant or nursing).

Fish is an extremely rich source of nutrients, and should be eaten in a balanced diet. The overfishing occurred to satisfy a market need for fertilizers and animal feeds, and that doesn't mean that humans need to now sacrifice this important nutrient to try to undo the damage.

Unfortunately, orange roughy is on the list and that is my favorite fish I buy frozen. If I were eating fresh caught it would be halibut or cod.

Also should be on the list is tilapia. There was some article which stated that tilapia has the bad cholesterol which is opposite of why you eat fish. Most fish has the good cholesterol or omega3 fatty acids but tilapia has abundance of omega5 fatty acids.

I eat fish because it is enjoyable to eat, not because of cholesterol content.
