D'oh! I just assumed she was going like it.
Oh she better like it. I didn't over work my brain for nothing trying to gather information on this.

I was reading up on flavors and as I'm looking around, one link lead to another which lead me to this thread where a user is asking for pod ratio to make good drinks.

I know really it comes down to the drinker but is there a rule of thumb I should follow?
Usually we drink our coffee in the large travel cup.

Notice the pods that have Lungo in the name? That means "Long" and those are especially made for taller cups, like Americans use. Gauge it by how you order your coffee drinks now at a cafe. If you normally order a double shot in your latte, then try two Lungo shots plus milk.

Sorry to bump this old thread.

Want to thank everyone for all the help and suggestions with the espresso machine.
The Nespresso U was a hit!

Now we just need to figure it out, LOL.

Thanks again all!

Glad she likes it!

The most important thing I've learned about the U is always have a cup under the spout before you pull closed the pod holder, it starts brewing immediately. Also a cool feature is you have 4 seconds after it finishes brewing to press the button down again and express more water through the pod for a larger expresso.

Awesome tip! Did not know that.
Those are the little things we are learning and looking for as we go along.
Also working on the water ratio to make a stronger drink.
All that will take time and lots of trial and error, LOL.

Thanks again for the all help!
