I have sweet potatoes maybe 1/2 dozen times a year. Use to like them, not so fond of them anymore. I like them with a small amount of butter, & not to sweet. I have to try them with olive oil & spice herb, sounds interesting to try. Never heard of purple sweet potato, maybe I've seen them in the stores & just didn't know what they were, next time shopping I'll have to pay closer attention to what those purple things are, if I find any I'll give it a try.

Love them just baked and plain. Growing up we didn't have them since mom & pop came from the
old country. Discovered them in my teens through friends.
A friend of mine, made sweet potato pie but she moved and I never got the recipe.

I eat them year 'round, maybe a couple times a month. In the summer I split a big one or two small ones in half the long way, and lay them on the grill. Hubby eats his with just a little butter, I like a tiny amount of butter, salt, a little cinnamon and a tiny bit of brown sugar Splenda. In the winter time i peel, cut, boil and mash them. I also keep sweet potato fries in the freezer during the winter time, but for some reason they're not gluten free so hubby can't have them, he gets regular oven fries.

I eat them about once a week. I notice sweet potato fries have become very popular in the past few years, I sometimes get them in place of regular fries if I'm out for lunch or dinner.

Lately, every morning. It's pretty nutritous. My palms have yet to turn yellow due to the massive amount of carotenoids I eat through the day from sweet potatoes and dark greens so I guess it's not too much.

mainly in stir-fry.
They add a little bit of sweetness, a little bit of color and, apparently, a little bit of healthy. whoda thunk it!

Year round. A couple times a week from October to April... love eating them with melted squares of dark chocolate or nut butter slathered on top.

We eat them maybe once a week, instead of russets and stuff. I eat the purple and the orange. I AM a little confused with the orange ones versus yams. Are they the same or not? I just buy them them all and add them when I do roasted veggies.
