They are building a new McDonalds....on a corner I drive by everyday about 6 mins from my home. I wont even be tempted to stop unless its for a coffee.
Well, probably not a lot of people who spend time in food forums.
Just like a lot of people that spend time in food forums never eat at Olive Garden. But there is always a line waiting to get in there. Me thinks there is a lot of dishonesty in anonymous forums.
I think many can honestly say that they don't go to Olive Garden or Red Lobster or Golden Coral or McD's ...... there isn't any reason for anyone to be dishonest about where they like to go to eat. The advantage to McD's is when on road trips....the breakfast is ok and the bathrooms clean and its easy in and out.
Of course there are a huge number of people who like to go to the fast food places.....they are thriving.
I occasionally buy chicken McNuggets. Maybe three or four times a year. I generally don't eat their hamburgers because I don't like their french fries and these days their prices are getting about the same as you would pay for a meal at one of the less expensive family sit-down restaurants like Denny's or Shari's. If I want to spend over $7 on a hamburger, I'll spend a few bucks more and dine in.
If I want a fast food burger, I'll generally eat at Jack in the Box. I like their french fries better and the Jumbo Jack without cheese combo is still under $5, which is my cutoff point for a fast food burger meal. I maybe go once or twice a month.
