The idea that one drops over dead in middle age, because of eating too much fast food is exagerated. People react differently to food. If you enjoy fast food, eat it. If it cuts 10 years off your life, so be it.

I've never understood how eating meat and potatoes at home is ok, and eating them at a fast food restaurant is bad. Do you really think they put some special artery clogger in the food?

The same nutcases that eat organic food, often participate in dangerous activities, and damage their hearing at rock concerts.

If you eat there, how often and what do you usually order?
I rarely eat at McD's or any fast food place. Actually the last time I ate at McD's was when I was in China and I wanted to have Western food.

I don't eat there but go nearly every day for a senior coffee ( 65 cents )

Once in awhile I will have a bacon McDouble ( $2) or a McDouble off their dollar menu.

I usually go just out of habit to spend some time watching the traffic on the state hwy that goes past it.

Very nice scenery by the McDonalds here in the Arkansas Ozarks.

My groceries tend to be organic, natural, blah blah blah, but sometimes I need to satisfy my McD cravings. I know it's not healthful food, so that's why the better part of my diet is.

Even when the inside isn't busy, the drive thru is.

Last week as I approached the counter, the girl said............." one senior coffee, black, "

She considers me a regular although we don't know each

I told her.................." every McDonalds has about 5 regular weirdo's who frequent it. I am one of them "

She laughed and laughed.

17 pages, still going strong...

I noticed that many people who reply with a "yes, I do easy at McDonald's" feel the need to mention that they eat only off the dollar menu. Is eating only inexpensive items somehow a lesser sin than eating a full priced burger?

I believe the dollar menu is largely items that are smaller and containing fewer calories. Maybe they are noting their moderation.

Usually people who order off the dollar menu don't order the big........COMBO MEAL ....which comes with fries and a soft drink.

My 65 cent cup of coffee and an ocassional McDouble off the dollar menu is not going to hurt me.
