No dung beetles. I draw the line at dung beetles.

I've only eaten it once. It was... chewy.

I have no desire to eat a dog either or a cat,

In general, I don't eat North American marsupials or mustelids.

I probably shouldn't eat members of the ursus genus since they virtually all have trichinella spores in their tissues, but I eat them when available; just have to slow cook or ensure 160 degree internal temperature for at least three minutes before consumption.

On principle I don't eat members of genus canis or vulpes, except for coyotes. I don't eat coyotes because they are just nasty.

I've eaten mountain lion, but wouldn't eat any felids smaller than that.

No rodents. Seriously, no rodents... Except maybe capybara. Most lagomorphs are okay, though... Except for jack rabbits. Never eat a jack rabbit.

Probably wouldn't eat a primate, although some old world monkeys could conceivably be acceptable table fare.

All cervids are on the menu as well as all members of the bos genus... Actually, most ungulates are on the menu. I can't really think of any that aren't.

I don't have much interest in eating jellyfish. Apparently cabbage-head jellyfish from the gulf of Mexico are imported by the ton to Asian countries where they are considered a delicacy, but I literally can't understand that.

I generally distrust meat that I didn't kill and butcher myself and have some similar reservations about the life experiences of feedlot beef cattle destined for Costco... But sometimes nothing will do other than a grain-finished, dry aged, bone-in ribeye that's three inches thick... and it came from a member of the bos genus.

you've eaten a mountain lion?????

how do you get a mountain lion on a menu??

Oh, really? Frogs can navigate by the stars in the sky - can you?
