Catfish, jambalaya, shrimp and grits, collard greens, baked mac and cheese with ham and jalapenos, biscuits, cornbread, black eyed peas, pecan pie and banana pudding. Add in some peach cobbler with ice cream and Sock-It-To-Me cake!!!

For years my now eight year old would tell people his favorite food was red wine. He meant greens with red wine vinegar sprinkled on them. We got a lot of funny looks for that one.

My favorite is greens, pretty much any greens, cooked for hours with ham hocks. Tastes good and it makes the house smell wonderful. Catfish is a close second and banana pudding with Nilla Wafers gets honorable mention.

Nope, no instant anything in my house!

Whoops! Spoke too soon. I do use tea bags. I figure that counts as instant.
