I steam brussel sprouts, drain, brown in butter top with seasoned bread crumbs mixed with parm cheese. Yum. Also love roasting aspargus seasoned with lemon pepper, lemon juice tossed with olive oil and shaved parm on that.
Love to roast brussel sprouts in the oven with some olive oil, sea salt, and cracked pepper, yum!
I like all vegetables, except when they are overcooked! I do love brussels sprouts, but DH doesn't, so they are limited at our table. I love beets, which many people loathe.
Only two veggies I don't care for: cauliflower and cream corn. I love all the rest.

Hubby says you are right, I put it in veg category because it is a savory, like tomatos.
