I sure hope not. We have been here 22 years but the fridge is only 18 years old. Hopefully the oldest thing is the open box of baking soda that has to have been there 8-10 years. Anything older would require the hazmat crew to remove.

Nope hurricane Katrina took care of both of my refrigerators! Couldn't get back to the house for 3 weeks. no power for 2 more. You don't want me to subscribe the smell.
I have a little Rubbermaid container of amaretto liqueur that's been in my fridge for the 5 years I've lived here. I got a new fridge 2 years ago, and just moved the amaretto over to the new fridge. I have no urge to ever drink it but I'm sure it would still be good at this point.
My old fridge died, and I tossed EVERYTHING because it was all 65 degrees when I discovered it. I have no idea how long it was "warm" - could have been 24 hours.
Eggs, dressings, mayo, meat, milk, creamer, etc. All gone from both fridge and attached freezer. Luckily, the fridge died the day before trash day, so it went right out and got picked up the next morning.
If in doubt, throw it out, and I was in serious doubt after 65 degrees! Blech.
Got a new fridge delivered, and everything is new!
We've only been here two years, and nothing in the fridge is that old. Maybe six months for some condiments, but that's about it.
