Back from two and a half weeks roadtripping and desperate for some home cooked food.

Tonight I'm making chicken curry, basmati rice and home made naan breads.

I slice them thin, nuke them in the microwave a half a minute, dip them in egg and milk, dip them in seaoned flour, re-dip in egg/milk, then coat them in cornmeal/breadcrumbs and fry. I picked some nice zukes, too, so I'll make zucchini fritters to go with them.
Ever since I read this I have had a craving for them. So tonight I will act on it. I have some beautiful green tomatoes on my Mr. Stripey tomato plants. I will be frying them up. We will also have shrimp cocktail and I am attempting my first batch of pimento cheese. I am using the recipe on the back of a Dukes jar. I am making some zucchini bread today too.
Happy Monday!

Tonight will be Thai sweet chili chicken breasts, parmesan roasted garlic herb potatoes, green beans and Portobello sauté, and iced brownies for dessert. I'm trying to think of a good wine that would go well with this meal.

Welcome back, dinner sounds great!!!!

I had a busy day, first an hour of water walking, then I helped cook for a bunch of workers at our church; on my feet for about 3 hours. So, thank God for freezers. I had meat balls and sause in the freezer and always have plenty of pasta. We that will be our dinner, along with a green salad and a glass of wine.
