Last day of the month for work so it's crazy AND Halloween AND I have a meeting to be at tonight at 7:15 - it's going to be fast food. Don't know what kind yet. Arby's, I hope. Although I could happily live with McDonald's. Then I again, I could happily live with McDonald's almost 7 days a week.

Last night it was slow cooker beef stroganoff ...

... which means tonight it will be too!

It was a cinch to make (this is why I love my slow cooker) and tasted great, as it always does -- this is one of my favorite slow-cooker dishes. (And I got the beef for just $2.99/lb. -- even better!)

I'm making Carnie Wilson's Hungarian Pork Chops. I'll serve them over buttered noodles and fry some cabbage with bacon, onions, garlic and crushed red peppers. I made a pecan pie over the weekend and if Mr. Pie Pig hasn't eaten it all, that will be dessert.

Leftover West African stew made with chicken, peanuts & butternut squash. At least it's somewhat orange for Halloween!

I'm going to pick up Papa Murphy's pizza to throw in the oven. I have to say, I don't know why I never tried it sooner. It's the best I've ever had. Chicken, bacon, artichoke, spinach lite.
