Good, Lord! Damn! That looks SO good. I wish I was at your place tonight

I'm having jerk chicken, rice and peas, and a side salad for dinner tonight.

What didn't I eat today? I think I gained 5 pounds.

We fired up our old faithful Weber charcoal grill for a celebration dinner and made:

BBQ chicken drumsticks
Hoisin-lime glazed chicken breast
London broil marinated in dark soy sauce, lime juice, garlic powder etc
Smoked sausage
Grilled veg medley of Japanese eggplant, yellow squash, Visdalia onion, small sweet peppers, and hatch peppers.

Potato salad with celery, mayo, Dijon mustard, holy basil, and fresh garlic chives
Platter of lettuce, onion, and tomato slices
Hoagie buns for the carboholics

Pastries from La Madeleine

I should never eat again.

Braised lamb in red cabbage and figs, seven-vegetable salad, and vanilla ice cream with hibiscus syrup. (Celebrating, yes!)

Busy day today: we make our monthly run to Sam's plus a bunch of other stops, so dinner will be plain ole frozen pizza with a personal touch. What is a personal touch: I add about 10 things to the pizza.
