Why did the OP's post generate such an unwarranted barrage of negativity?

I actually try novelty ice cream/ice milk/dessert product flavors.

Did they? It looked to me like they said it was the best ice cream they'd had, not that the flavor was groundbreaking.

I do, too.

I don't particularly like most ice cream (or most sweets, overall), but I always like to try new varieties, flavors, and products, overall.

I like Coldstone Creamery and no store bought will ever suffice after taking the turn.

Omg, my brother loves CS Creamery. We have one close by, too close! Just found out he's got my sis saving him coupons from Sunday's paper for the place. Now, I'm in on the coupon saving at his request.

I love almond joy!

I don't get it either. It's really pretty mean spirited. That makes me sad - it starts to feel downright unfriendly at times. I don't know - maybe some of us aren't sophisticated enough to participate since we don't eat higher end stuff for lack of a better term. That's how the attitude comes across anyway, in my opinion.

I'll look for this at the store - bet husband would love it!

For something less heavy though truly delectable try Breyers Indulgences Gelato .....triple chocolate is out of this World good.

Much less fat as well. Something about gelato when done properly that knocks ice cream off our freezer shelf.

OP, don't let people get to you. That flavor looks great.

I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of "ice cream angst" and criticism, living in Texas where Blue Bell Ice Cream is considered the nectar of the gods. Actually it IS pretty darn good. Maybe they make a similar flavor - hope it doesn't come with a side helping of listeria - LOL!

Mildly allergic to both, so no thanks. Their birthday cake is awesome though.
