Posting late because I am cooking up a storm!

Picking my son up from Pittsburgh - from Vermont. So, I made something that he loves - Thia Vegetable Red Curry with sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and carrots.

Jasmine rice. Cabbage and Kale slaw with cilantro lime dressing.

Chocolate layer cake and ice cream.

Can't wait to see him!

I guess I invented a sandwich tonight, using up what I had on hand.

Steamed some broccoli and seasoned with balsamic vinegar and a pat of butter, then chopped.

Prepped a baguette with Dijon mustard and Swiss cheese, then added dry salami, sliced green olives, and the broccoli. Served with potato chips.

The broccoli and sliced green olives almost qualify as a Muffuletta relish.

Last night's dinner

The beer can chicken on the grill

Roasted beets and feta salad

Dessert was grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream. I made a sauce of butter, honey and cinnamon for it.

Tonight I am trying a Korean BBQ sauce over beef in the slow cooker. I will serve with rice and a salad.
