Roadhouse is probably the best among the lower end steak chains. We used to go to Logan's, but the steaks at Roadhouse are generally much more tender.

The two restaurants are very much alike as far as what is on the menu. But Logan's is far more expensive for lower-quality food, and terrible service. We love Texas Roadhouse.

Totally Texas Roadhouse!

I've been to Logan's a few times. Each location had HORRIBLE service. Dirty utensils and glasses. One location was actually shut down by the board of health for a few days! Never been to a Logan's since. Absolutely no desire to either. Their food sucked compared to Texas Roadhouse.

Vote for Texas Roadhouse. Attentive staff in all the different states we have eaten in (5 in total).

HOWEVER...

Logan's has the right idea when it comes to desserts: more or less shotglasses with pudding/mousses/cake. Just enough of a something-something to end out a meal. Texas Roadhouse has terrible desserts. Longhorns has great desserts, but are also huge and not something I want after a filling meal, though I will say that they have recently started Small Bites(?) desserts which is something akin to cupcake-sized.

Texas Roadhouse by far. Logan's, Longhorns and Outback are way down on my list.

Man, you must dislike a lot of restaurants! Many don't have green beans.
